Programme:

Leeds were never in the race as Johnny Urquhart gave the home side the lead after eight minutes and eleven minutes later Bernie Kelly made it 2-0. Leeds held out for an hour before John French got the third goal for Raith to put the game beyond Leeds. Two minutes later Johnny Urquhart got his second and Raith's fourth goal before, with a minute left on the clock ex Port Glasgow Rangers and Scottish Schoolboy star, Bobby Cameron, stepped up with his usual aplomb, to reduce the arrears with a consolation goal from the penalty spot.
